How-to: Summer Bronze Makeup

One comment

Summer bronze makeup is all about a flawless glow and bronze skin! Let’s face it we all want that beautiful tanned skin (especially me that I am so fair skinned) for the summer! I am sure my fellow pale beauties can relate, haha! Since I am very fair skin I do have to be careful with what I apply. I am going to show you what I use as my go-to summer look! This is a simple routine that anyone can achieve giving you that beautiful fresh bronzed and glowing skin!

  1. Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation
  2. Too Faced Chocolate Bronzer
  3. Mac Cosmetics ‘Warm Soul’ Blush
  4. Becca ‘Champagne Pop’ Highlighter
  5. Tatcha Luminous dewy skin mist
  6. Givenchy Lipstick

Step 1: Apply your primer, then go in with the Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation. I always go a shade darker. This foundation is great because its very long lasting and the coverage is amazing. A little goes a long way! I apply with my It cosmetics buffing brush that I just love, but you can also use any buffing brush. Another great option would be the Sephora Collection Multitasker Brush #45.

Step 2: After setting with a translucent powder you want to start apply your bronzer underneath your cheek bones and around the the corners of your forhead and jawline. Apply evenly throughout the face to create an even complexion.

Step 3: After Applying your bronzer you want to add a little color to those cheeks! Apply Mac Cosmetics ‘Warm Soul’ Blush on the apples of the cheeks. Sculpt upwards towards the bronzer to create a beautiful transition.

Step 4: Highlight! Apply Becca’s ‘Champagne Pop’ to the high points of your cheek bones, brow bone and cupids bow.

Step 5: Pick your favorite lipstick! I decided to go for a nude shade from Givenchy. They have some of the best formulas in their collections! Definitely recommend them!

Hope you all enjoyed this look! Let me know what you think in the comments. Til next time!
